About this event

“Fail to plan, and you plan to fail.” How many of us have heard those words of wisdom? Never are they truer than when we talk about digitization projects. If you have daydreams (or nightmares) about how to start digitizing items in your collection, this session will lay the groundwork needed to lessen your stress and increase your success. Our webinar leaders will walk you through a framework of factors to consider before you make your first scan. Attendees to this session will have the opportunity to

• Learn how to define a project’s scope and goals

• Discuss costs and funding options

• Explore issues to consider when selecting materials

• Review possible project restrictions, like copyright
